On the other hand, we come across the concept of a grandmaster. A grandmaster is, in layman’s terms, one of the highest ranks that a chess player might be able to attain in their lives. This specific title is awarded by the Fédération Internationale des Échecs or World Chess Federation (FIDE). These chess players are known to hold the prestige and tactical skills that are typically displayed upon observing probabilities on a chess game. This position is an alternate high position that a chess player holds for life, in comparison to being a world champion for a short period of time.

For the previous years, the Komodo has successfully won sets of computer chess games against several human opponents, but as we speak of whether or not it is likely for a grandmaster in chess to beat the Komodo, we can say that it is still likely, despite the adversary being a more technical program. Through a previous game, the Komodo lost eight out of fifty-three games.
The possibility under statistics may make that seem unlikely, but we speak more of a chance rate rather than mere “yes” or “no” options. Under this basis, we have to understand the idea of tenured players coming against a computer program can come across several odds, especially in leads of logic, mathematical precision, and ideas of probability.
